Due to the underwhelming complexity of this beloved show and to the BBC now showing episodes a mere 2 days after the US, I made the rash decision to stop watching Heroes ahead. I’ve erased season 3 and will no longer be saving episodes, unless the show becomes brilliant again at which point I’ll wait for the whole season. Hence, the most recent review is delayed as I have not seen it yet and do not intend to watch it until this week on terrestrial TV. You know, that big silver box-thing which sits in the corner of the living room? Yeah, that one.
It’s a sad process whenever I stop collecting episodes of a TV show. I’ve always been a hoarder and TV is no exception; I have a collection of over 60 VHS tapes back in Australia, accumulating the last 14 years of my viewing habits. Of course I never have a chance to watch them all, although it is fun to go back and find old episodes of Home & Away with a totally different and forgettable cast. Not to mention the episodes of California Dreams and Sweet Valley High and the millions of music videos littered all over the place.
So anyone who may be puzzled by the lack of recent reviews concerning our intrepid super-injected heroes, fear not. It will be coming up this week.
